About the Author

Publius Vergilius Maro lived from 70 to 19 BC. He is the author of the Eclogues, Georgics, and Aeneid, the last of which he was ordered to write by Emperor Augustus. He died before he could complete it. Michael Waehner is a Latin teacher near Houston, Texas. No one ordered him to write this, and he isn't dead yet.
