About the Author

Izumi TSURITA received her PhD in international contribution from the University of Tokyo, Master of Environmental Management from the University of Queensland, and Bachelor of Arts from Sophia University. She has been working at international research institutes and international agency that deal with global environmental issues. Her research interests include sustainable resource management and marine biodiversity conservation.
